  • The cabins do not have WIFI or mobile phone signals, though WIFI and a payphone can be found at the Forest Retreat.
  • Cabin numbers 8-11, 13, 14, 24-34 and 40 have steps leading up to them and may not be suitable for disabled guests.
  • There are dog-free and dog-friendly cabins available on-site, with an additional daily cost charged per dog per night.
  • Some of the three bedroom Silver Birch cabins do not have an en-suite master bedroom. Instead, they have one family bathroom with a separate shower room

The Details...

Delve deep into the heart of Cornwalls ancient Deerpark Forest and youll find a selection of woodland lodgings. Veiled by thick foliage and soaring pine canopies, they have an idyllic spot in the forest. Watch magnificent roe deer prance through the secretive trees before spotting mysterious bats flitting amongst the tangled leaves. Located just 15 minutes away from the beautiful Cornish Coast, you can even discover secluded sandy beaches before retreating to your woodland lodge.

The 45 Forest Holiday cabins all enjoy views over the serene millpond or the wild natural scenes, there is no end to the peace and tranquillity which can be enjoyed here.

The Golden Oak Cabins have some of the best views of woodland life. With a hot tub and a large isolated terrace, you can relax in peace beneath starry night vistas. Ranging from 2 to 3 bedroom cabins, they have room for up to six people with a master en-suite and comfortable twin bedrooms.

The largest of the cabins is known as the Golden Oak Treehouse and is an inspired home with a room high up in the rafters. Sleeping up to eight across two double and two twin bedrooms, it includes a spacious Golden Oak Cabin linked to an additional treehouse bedroom. Combined with the bubbling hot tub and the stunning canopies, this treehouse is the ultimate forest sanctuary.

The Silver Birch Cabins are also an excellent choice and offer comfortable accommodation with indulgent touches. Ranging from two to three bedrooms, they have a master en-suite with cosy twin rooms and a family bathroom. An open-air hot tub can also be found out on the terrace, along with a table and chairs for al fresco dining.

Once youre here there are all sorts of activities to discover, including bike rides, woodland walks and archery lessons. A forest ranger is also on hand to offer a wide range of adventures, such as teddy bears picnics, night vision walks and survival sessions. If you want to head out then the pretty coastal towns of Looe and Polperro are also well worth a visit, along with the historic town of Liskeard and the Eden Project site.
