The Dachstein range is a favourite for winter sports and has ski slopes and jumps that are suitable for all. You are within walking distance of a 89 hole golf course. In the spring and summer, the natural opulence reins making it ideal for hiking, biking and serious rock climbing. The owners are very knowledgeable about the local area, and happy to suggest activities. In the autumn, this town becomes a training ground for all the World Cup athletes in cross-country skiing, biathlon, and other Nordic sports. You are very likely to bump into them when out for an evening jog!
