The Detail...
Stay on the family estate of Whitbourne in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside at Crumplebury. Surrounded by woodland and the happy animals on their home farm, it combines the warmth of a personal touch with exquisite modern luxury.
This fabulous rural estate offers 11 beautiful king-size bedrooms, which are each named after a place on the estate. The contemporary rooms have been designed with dark colours to make the surrounding nature truly pop. Each room has a super king-size bed, which can be set up as a twin if required. There is a monsoon shower in the en-suite bathroom, as well as a separate roll top bath.
Four guests can also stay in Longfield Cottage - the 18th Century, red brick building at Crumplebury. The modern and elegant two-bedroom cottage has two super king-size bedrooms, one of which can be set as a twin. Elsewhere is the open-plan kitchen with a wine fridge and cosy snug. The bathroom has a monsoon shower and there is once again a separate roll top bath. In the private garden is the ultimate piece of indulgent relaxation; a wood fired hot tub.
Also on site is the Green Cow Kitchens, which showcases the very best of the farm’s produce. The chefs forage for wild garlic and fruit from the estate to help curate their wonderful menus, which also features ethically raised meat from Crumplebury, even including pheasant, partridge, and duck. The tasting menu is served at dinner and changes monthly to reflect the seasons, while at lunchtimes diners can sample the A La Carte lunch.
The estate can also be hired for weddings and other celebrations, with the Grand Hall the perfect space for a feast and a party. Crumplebury also hosts corporate events, with the art gallery featuring works from local artists the ideal place to host this. It can also be booked for exclusive use if you have a larger group.
The picturesque nearby village of Whitbourne is adjacent to the River Teme and has a beautiful Norman church at its heart. There is a village pub and shop for basic needs, while Whitbourne is also the perfect starting point for discovering many walks in the Worcestershire countryside.
