At the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Blatchford Briar offers guests the chance to stay in one of three spacious, fully-equipped shepherd's huts overlooking patchwork farmland. Settled amid glorious countryside with stunning views across rolling fields, grazing sheep and ponies, all three shepherd huts have a definite wow factor! Each hut was lovingly crafted with exquisite detail, decorated with comfort in mind and finished to an exceptionally high standard.
Lush green scenes and the open air surround these luxury huts which each sleep two comfortably. With a bathroom and kitchen inside, the huts really do provide a home from home in the most stunning environment. Plus, the use of a wood-fired hot tub out in the fresh air allows guests to relax, unwind and take in the gorgeous views in peace. Blatchford Briar is perfect for romantic getaways with the glorious Devon countryside and coastline nearby.
Each of the shepherd's huts has been decorated to the highest standard, offering a cosy and comfortable experience for all. Inside, heating and a log burner keep the space nice and toasty. A luxurious king-sized bed and sofa make sure there is plenty of space to stretch out and lounge at night-time, and the beautifully designed smart kitchen with modern appliances and a full sized cooker provides everything needed to prepare a hearty, home-cooked meal. The huts also have their own elegant, sleek modern shower with lots of hot water.
At the end of the day you can soak up the amazing sunset and relax under a star-filled sky in your own private Swedish wood fired hot tub. Fairy lights twinkle as you BBQ on the fire pit, toasting marshmallows and enjoying a delicious hot chocolate courtesy of the Hotel Chocolate maker.
Situated between Dartmoor National Park and the Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, there is plenty to explore right on your doorstep. Whether it's an epic hike or a peaceful stroll, the landscapes and scenery are wonderful in this part of the south west, while the stunning coast is just a short drive away, perfect for lazy beach days or action packed watersports. The historic town of Tavistock is just a 15 minute drive away, with the city of Plymouth and smaller villages also nearby. Sampling the local seafood, drinks and farm produce is surely not to be missed, while history fans will be spoilt for choice.
