Tucked away on their own little slice of heaven on the grounds of a classic Georgian manor; just a short walk from the Sussex coast, you will find the Barnhorn Glamping. These twin huts have been built using the finest materials and are wonderfully positioned amidst some of the UK's most beautiful countryside. The cabins can be rented together or individually and can sleep a maximum of four guests each. More than suitable for a small family, they perhaps shine brightest as a couple's retreat. And guests also get access to their own private woodfired hot tub.
Guests will have their choice of three luxury wood cabins: Pevensey Bay, The Cooden and Norman's Bay. All three luxury pods have been handcrafted with the utmost love, consideration, and artisanal expertise. As you step through the floor to ceiling patio doors, you will be greeted by the open-planned living area. This contains a well-stocked kitchenette area, a dining table, and a sofa bed for extra guests. The master bedroom boasts a comfortable king size bed, with another set of patio doors illuminating the room in natural light during the day. There is also a separate bathroom with a WC, basin, and heated shower. Outside, guests can relax on the decking, or survey the arresting Sussex views from the comfort of the wood fired hot tub.
Guests can also get fantastic massage and reflexology treatments in the studio. The owners at Barnhorn Cabins have teamed up with Laura Mellor, a massage therapist and reflexologist, meaning you can book a session during your stay. You can make the most of a tailored aromatherapy massage, that combines a range of deeply nourishing and uplifting plant essences. Or why not opt for a whole body reboot with a reflexology session, working on the zones of the feet to restore, balance and induce a sense of calm on the system?
The Cabins are wonderfully situated, regardless of whether you want to stay put or use them as a base from which to explore the greater Kent and Sussex region. The local countryside is some of the most picturesque in all of England, with an abundance of walking and cycling trails dotted around the area. You will be just a short walk from the Sussex coastline, which has number tranquil beaches. To the north, there is the High Weald AONB, while the South Downs National Park begins just a 20-minute drive to the west. The seaside towns of Hastings, Eastbourne, and Bexhill are all a short drive away, while the bustling resort of Brighton and Hove is an hour’s drive. This lively and chic city has something for everyone with an array of nightlife, shopping, dining, and sight-seeing highlights.

Leave a reviewReally enjoyed our stay here, beautiful views, very peaceful. Felt more secluded than we were expecting — it's just the cabins in a field and the main building and outbuildings on the other side of the field, with not much else around besides country views. The road is nearby but the way the cabins are positioned, you don't notice it at all. Cabin itself was really well presented, had everything we needed, lovely hot water and hot tub was fantastic. Highly recommend!
