In a magnificent baronial-style mansion, Ardanaiseig Hotel offers 240 acres of wooded grounds, a restaurant and elegant rooms and suites. This hotel is situated in Kilchrenan, on the banks of Loch Awe.
Inside the hotel are sumptuous bedrooms, all individually decorated with antique furniture, rich fabrics and feature beds. All rooms have a bathroom with designer toiletries, a seating area and scenic views. Rooms are well equipped with a tea caddy, artisan biscuits and Scottish still and sparkling waters.
The Boatshed is Ardanaiseig’s luxury honeymoon suite, situated on the banks of Loch Awe. The suite has one bedroom, with a king size or twin beds, as well as an open plan kitchen and living area, complete with glass frontage overlooking the Loch.
Rose Cottage is Ardanaiseig’s pretty self-catering cottage on the hotel’s grounds, which accommodates up to four guests. It has two bedrooms; one double and one twin, a living-room, kitchen and family bathroom.

With a contemporary menu, the restaurant also enjoys views of the Loch. Stay in for afternoon tea or take a picnic out to the private island.
On the estate you can fish on Loch Awe with the help of an expert ‘Ghillie’, sample whisky with the knowledgeable bar staff, or aim and release in the walled garden with an archery lesson with a qualified instructor.
Surrounded by beautiful Argyll countryside, Ardanaiseig Hotel is a 40-minute drive from the seaside town of Oban, where you can catch the ferry to the Isle of Mull or stay and visit the picturesque Kilchurn Castle. As you’d expect in Scotland there are plenty of fascinating castles to visit nearby as well as a golf club at Taynuilt and one of the finest Munros in Scotland; the 1126m mountain Ben Cruachan.
