The Detail...
Nestled in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Ardoch Lodge enjoys some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery. With luxury accommodation in two log cabins and a cottage set in 12 acres of grounds, the Lodge provides an idyllic escape from busy, everyday life. The views over the national park sweep across forests and the peaks of Ardnadave and Ben Vane provide a majestic backdrop. Both of the log cabins and the cottage sleep up to four guests and are well-heated, making them cosy and inviting at any time of year. Ardoch Lodge has also achieved the silver standard under the Green Tourism Business Scheme thanks to their efforts to protect the local environment and make it a haven for the local flora and fauna.
The two log cabins, The Woodside and The Hillside, are set in enchanting woodland a little distance from the house with their own private car parking. The cabins both have one double bedroom and one twin, making them perfect for family trips. The Woodside has been furnished in a Scandinavian style with the interior painted white, opening up the space. The welcoming living and kitchen area features a wood-burning stove that will keep you comfortable even in the colder months. The Hillside log cabin in more reminiscent of a ski chalet with its beautiful wooden walls left unpainted and comfy armchairs and a sofa to sink into after a day exploring the Trossachs. Both cabins are equipped with a full range of appliances including washer, dryer, TV and a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher.
The Mews Cottage was converted from the old stables and has been beautifully furnished throughout. Underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove will keep you cosy and you’ll have everything you could need for a self-catering holiday. Both the double bedroom and the twin room have luxurious bedding and have been decorated in neutral tones which complement the natural surroundings and help you relax. The cottage has its own garden and outdoor dining area where you can enjoy a BBQ together and see if you can spot any of the local wildlife exploring the grounds.
The rugged beauty of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park is waiting to be explored. There are trails for walkers and cyclists of all abilities and detailed maps and guide books can be found in the cottage and cabins. A local ranger can also guide you through the Queen Elizabeth forest and introduce you to the fascinating ecosystems that thrive there. You could also try your hand at a spot of fishing as the River Balvaig and Loch Lubnaig are accessible from the grounds.

Reviews
Have you stayed at Ardoch Lodge?
Leave a review for this propertyWe loved our 3 night stay at Hillside so much we immediately booked it again. The newly refurbished decor is lovely, it has comfy beds, fluffy towels, a well equipped kitchen , Apple TV and really everything we needed to make our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. We loved the location as it's very close to one of our favourite places to eat, Mhor84 and there are so many places to explore close by, we saw a different waterfall every day! We can't wait to return later in the year."
