With 11 bedrooms across the historic main house and the charming cottage next door, this marvellous stay offers sprawling social spaces, a wood-fired hot tub and a fantastic outdoor tennis court. Add to this the fact that you’re only 20 minutes from the beautiful coastlines of Poole and Sandbanks and you’ve got your perfect getaway with family and friends.
When you arrive you’ll be struck by the amazing location and the striking exterior of this fabulous home. And when you step inside, you’ll find a stay that combines rustic, old-world charm, with Farrow and Ball paint and stunning decor.
The Manor House is the larger of the two, with a beautiful country kitchen where you can whip up delicious feasts for your group. When dinner’s served, you can dine together in the lovely dining room with its feature fireplace, or take your meals alfresco in the fresh Dorset air. After dinner, get comfy in the lounge with a good book or head to the games room where there’s a pool table and some more comfy seating around another wood-burner.
You will also have free reign of the estate’s beautiful grounds. That means you can head outside and relax in the spacious gardens, where kids can play on the lawn or you can challenge a loved one to a game of tennis in your private court.
When the stars come out, hop into your private hot tub in the walled garden for an opulent soak with a glass of bubbles in hand. Or, explore the grounds and wander the woodland and paddock, letting the kids run free, before challenging them to a game of Giant Jenga or outdoor table tennis.
When night falls, the Manor House has eight large double bedrooms on offer, whilst the cottage offers three more. All of the bedrooms, across both properties, have been lovingly designed with lovely decor and super-comfy beds, ensuring you and your loved ones can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. There are also a number of opulent bathrooms on offer, with a combination of showers and bathtubs for relaxing evening soaks.
When it comes to exploring the local area, there’s lots to see and do nearby. Just beyond your boundaries lies the stunning Dorset countryside. Scenic footpaths and bridleways invite you to explore open pastures, vibrant yellow rapeseed fields and enchanting bluebell woods - just minutes away during the right season.
