Another popular destination is Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park, a historic house set in 865 acres of parkland overlooking Plymouth Sound. Throughout the year there are events that take place in Cawsand such as the annual Cawsand Bay Regatta Week which includes sailing races for all ages along with live music performances from local bands. Additionally there's also an annual Christmas fair hosted by nearby Maker Heights where visitors can browse stalls selling crafts made by local artists while sipping on mulled wine & hot cider.
