  The Detail...

This stunning property simply sparkles with its large glazed frontage and fabulous design throughout. Light fills the space and guarantees gloriously airy interiors whatever the weather. The double-height winter-garden conservatory that looks out onto the garden - and wooded hills beyond - is a stroke of design genius. With stylish interiors, a fabulous wood burner - and a stunning selection of art on the walls, it really is a rather unique retreat.

The open-plan lounge, dining, kitchen and double-height conservatory is a jaw-dropping use of space. Art is at the heart of this striking property - and the art-dealer owners have truly put their own unique stamp on it. You can even buy some of the art!

The lounge is beautifully put together, with a wonderful mix of textiles, quirky furniture and original artwork. And the comfortable sofas sit invitingly next to a modern wood-burning stove and large television. Next to this is a quiet seating area with retro settees and an abundance of books for you to delve into.

The dining area sits in between the kitchen and the gorgeous double-height conservatory - making for a fabulously sociable space with plenty of room to spread out.

The modern kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. And its gleaming white cupboards sit rather happily next to the dark marble worktops. Its definitely a cooks kitchen, complete with store cupboard essentials and even a pantry.

The property sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin). The bedrooms are styled to the same high standard with colourful artwork dotted throughout. The master bedroom deserves a special mention for its eclectic patterned textiles, exquisite en-suite bathroom (complete with his-and-her sinks), and an awesome balcony that is built into the top of the conservatory. There are plenty of bathrooms to go round too - with two of the bedrooms being en-suite - and the third bedroom having a bathroom opposite.

Outside there is a sun-filled terrace with wooden patio furniture and an enclosed private garden. Its the perfect place to watch the sunset after a hard day relaxing.

The local area has plenty of walking options - from brisk walks in the Brecon Beacons to a more leisurely stroll to the local pub. And, as its situated right on the Wye-Valley Walk, you can easily take advantage of this spectacular riverside amble that takes in plenty of breathtaking scenery en route. If you fancy heading to a town for some retail therapy or a coffee then gorgeous Hay-on-Wye and Builth Wells are both just ten minutes down the road.
