St Ives’ hidden gem, the luxury townhouse of Waves End, once a sea captain’s abode, is the ideal spot for a relaxing summer break. With a hot tub, garden, and four bedrooms sleeping eight, this property promises a fantastic stay. Some awe-inspiring Cornwall beaches are a stone’s throw away, and the sea views provide ample opportunity for peaceful reflection within the property, perhaps over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. With St Ives spilling onto a myriad of breath-taking Cornish beaches, Waves End is aptly named: the location is reason to arrive, but the captivating sea views will compel you to return time and time again.
With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, this property has ample space for a relaxing stay. A sea view over the beautiful St Ives harbour awaits, and the brightly decorated walls amplify the typical Cornwall sunshine. The outdoor space is particularly impressive, and the garden, a mere twenty steps away, features a decadent Artesian Spa hot tub alongside a walled garden. The accompanying patio is perfect for evening dining, and since this property sleeps eight, this can be achieved amongst family and friends alike. Access-wise, the garage parks one car, there is another parking space nearby for a second vehicle, and the railway station is a short walk away.
Cornwall is one of the most amazing counties in the UK, and St Ives is one of its hotspots. Soak up culture at Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Culture Garden alike and enjoy an evening meal at the Rum & Crab Shack afterwards. The beautiful beaches of Porthminster, Carbis Bay, Bamaluz, and Porthgwidden are accessible by foot, and for the hikers, Hellesveor Cliff and Clodgy Point at Carn Naun Point might be worth a visit. On the other side of the bay at Godrevy rests the Godrevy Lighthouse, Godrevy Point, and the National Trust Godrevy, with the scenic Gwithian Beach and Peter’s Point sandwiched close by.
