Ideal for families with teenagers who need their own space or a small group of friends, this luxury beach house sleeps up to eight guests in three bedrooms with super king sized beds, two of which can made into twins. There is also space for two extra children on comfy futon beds.
This beach house is luxurious and spacious with a bright airy open plan living design perfect for those wanting a truly memorable beach holiday. The interior has white wood panelled walls and pops of colour everywhere creating a happy, sunny environment in which to relax.
The kitchen has a breakfast bar and contains everything you could need to whip up a delicious meal. There's a dining table that will comfortably sit everyone and a huge cosy sofa facing a flat screen TV that can be folded up and out of the way should you wish to just stare at the cute porthole window. A fabulous cream log burner nestles in the corner ready to keep you toasty in the cooler months.
There's plenty of room for everyone to chill together or find their own corner, thanks to the mezzanine structure, so you can grab that book you've been dying to read and tuck yourself away in one of the nooks on a futon. At bedtime you'll have the choice of three luxurious rooms, all with very comfy super-king beds made up with crisp linens and colourful blankets. Tuck yourself in and drift off to the lull of the sea. In the morning you can blast away the sleep in the walk-in shower or have a long soak in the deep luxury tub, the bathroom really is fabulous and the owners have provided fabulous toiletries for you to enjoy.
Your outdoor space is the piece de resistance. A large private decking area with a big table for al fresco dining is perfect for taking advantage of the gas BBQ. And whilst someone is taking care of that side of things you can step into the barrel sauna before sinking into the hot tub with an icy beer. Perhaps after a burger or two you could just climb into the hammock and have a snooze.
The stunning Three Mile Beach is only a five minute walk from your private paradise where you can spend the day sunbathing, swimming, building sandcastles, learning to surf or honing your already impressive skills. And when the sun sets head back, rinse off the sand and mooch over to the retro street food van for some casual dinner and order some drinks from the boozy tuk-tuk next door.
Food wise you really are in for a treat and the owners will make sure you can take full advantage of all the marvellous options that St Ives provides. You can hire a private chef to come to your house with lots of gorgeous local produce. Choose form the menu or tell them your heart's desire and the chef will make it for you. Or maybe you fancy a pizza night? In which case they will deliver a huge pizza oven and a hamper of ingredients for you to spend a fun inventing your own pizzas. The best fish and chips can be found at Sanders Fish and Chips in Hayle. You’ll find it under the viaduct next to Hayle train station.
There’s kitesurfing, paddle-boarding, hiking, surfing, kayaking, yoga, meditation, wine tasting, galleries, potteries, fishing and foraging nearby too. Surfing lessons are available and you can hire boards and wetsuits on-site. There is so much to do and see and the owners are happy to help you plan your adventures. Or, of course, you could just laze on the decking and watch the world go by.
