In the far reaches of the Scottish Highlands, tucked away on a Lochinver hillside, this marvellous home for six overlooks the stunning Assynt mountain range. Grand and spacious inside, with sprawling outdoor areas in which to relax whilst taking in the view, this is the perfect home for your next getaway with family or friends.
Waterloo Lodge is a beautiful home that sits amidst unspoiled scenery and offers a peaceful place in which to unwind in nature. Spend your days relaxing in the sunshine on your patio with a drink in hand or enjoying a soak in your private hot tub whilst taking in the surroundings. Then, when the sun begins to set, light the firepit and toast marshmallows over the flames as you chat the night away. As if the Jacuzzi wasn’t indulgent enough, the owners have also added a sleek infrared sauna for you to make use of during your stay.
To elevate the atmosphere, Bose outdoor speakers linked to Sonos let you stream your favourite chilled tunes while you unwind outside. The owners also planted a mix of trees and shrubs that grow more lush and secluded with every season - bringing even more peace, privacy and a deeper connection to nature.
Stepping inside, you’ll love the big lounge with its huge windows framing the breathtaking views. There’s also a giant feature fireplace here, an abundance of exposed wooden beams and some super-comfy and stylish sofas where you can relax with a morning coffee or evening tipple.
The kitchen is another showstopper, with a giant island and barstools where you can sit with a drink as your loved one whips up a feast. The kitchen is not only tastefully designed, but has also been kitted out with all the modern appliances and amenities you need to make meal prep a breeze. The kitchen is also home to the spacious dining area that sets the scene for epic social feasts with your group. To top it off, there is also a large glass door that spans almost the entire length of the kitchen and opens up into the garden bringing the outside in. There’s also a BBQ at your disposal for grilling up some delicious local produce.
