Located on a quiet street in the historic city of Bath, just outside the bustling city centre, you’ll find this beautifully renovated one bedroom apartment. It’s within the lower ground floor of a Georgian villa built in 1785 and the thoughtful renovation highlights many of the original features. You’ll find fireplaces repurposed as nooks for a TV or a headboard, some of the original doors and gorgeous stone floors. This has all been complemented by contemporary furnishings and a neutral colour palette which creates a relaxing atmosphere. This is a stylish, yet cosy bolt hole for couples to escape to while exploring this fascinating city.
Despite being on the lower ground floor, the apartment feels bright and airy thanks to the tall windows typical of Georgian architecture. There’s a large open plan living, kitchen and dining area that feels warm and welcoming as you step into the apartment. The bespoke kitchen is equipped for everything from quick breakfasts before you head out into the city to indulgent dinners when you get back in the evening. After a busy day exploring, snuggle up on the sofa and get stuck into a good film or a book.
The spacious bedroom has a super-king size bed and the original stone floor. This room also has some desk space with large windows on either side and another sofa. There’s a stylish bathroom decorated with sleek white tiles and has a rainfall shower. Fluffy towels will be waiting for you on the heated towel rail.
While the apartment is tucked away in a peaceful part of the city, it’s just a short stroll to the centre of the action. Wander down the hill into the city centre, past iconic examples of Georgian architecture along the way. Get your bearings with the panoramic views from the spectacular Royal Crescent before heading down to the Abbey where you’ll find the Roman Baths next door. Get yourselves tickets to the next Bath Rugby game or if a bit of peace and quiet is more your thing, book a session at the Thermae Bath Spa finishing with a swim in the rooftop pool. For a change of scene, go for a walk in one of the beautiful gardens such as Prior Park or head out to Westonbirt Arboretum, beautiful at any time of the year.
