Located in Hampshire’s beautiful countryside in the quiet village of Bighton, these two tiny homes offer couples the chance to relax well away from the busy everyday. Sit out on the veranda and enjoy the stunning views across the surrounding countryside or soak it all up while cooking a late lunch on the BBQ. You can head off into the countryside for scenic walks right from the front door or you could walk to the nearby Watercress Line station and take it all in from the window of a steam train. In the evenings, snuggle up back at your tiny home with a fire crackling away in the wood burner and plan the next day’s adventures.
The two tiny homes, ‘Lazy Days’ and ‘Keeper’s Cosy’, are charming little hideaways, perfect for couples. There are two living spaces, the first located in a completely enclosed veranda which can be opened up on warmer days so you can enjoy the views from a lounger. This space also allows you to eat outdoors under a bit of cover and embrace more of the surrounding nature.
Step into the main living area where you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen. There’s an oven, twin hobs and everything you’ll need to rustle up simple meals or to prepare some treats for the BBQ outside. There’s a luxurious king size bed, complete with fresh, crisp linen and a wood burning stove in the corner to keep you cosy whatever the weather. There’s an ensuite bathroom where you’ll find a shower and fluffy towels waiting for you on the heated towel rail.
Each tiny home also has its own lawn area with a stand suitable for a disposable BBQ. You’ll be able to enjoy the views while something sizzles away, perhaps with the local red kites flying overhead. Sit out on the veranda or quietly on the lawn and you might see hares, deer, guinea fowl and rabbits wandering by.
The tiny homes are located along a quiet country lane in the village of Bighton with plenty of exploring to be done nearby. The Georgian market town of Alresford with its colourful houses and array of pubs and restaurants is a great place to start.
Head a little bit further and visit the beautiful medieval Cathedral in Winchester. The South Downs National Park is a short drive away for long walks and sweeping panoramic views. You might prefer to delve into the New Forest where the ancient woodlands are dotted with charming villages and ponies roam freely. It’s just a five minute stroll from the glamping site to the closest station on the historic Watercress Line where you can catch a ride on a steam train and explore the Hampshire countryside in comfort.
