Relax and unwind in the marvellous Dumfries and Galloway countryside in one of these three comfy, cosy shepherd's huts. These three huts all offer guests a fantastic place to stay with striking, uninterrupted sea views in front, and beautiful rolling hills to the rear.
Each hut has been hand crafted, meaning each one has its own character and charm. Each bespoke hut is made from Siberian larch and boasts stylish, comfy interiors with everything you'll need for a fantastic stay.
The huts all offer couples a romantic retreat with a lot more luxury than you'd find in a traditional shepherd's hut. The huts are equipped with log burning fireplaces for romantic evenings in, and well-equipped kitchens meaning you can whip up a meal for two with ease. They also have cosy bedrooms with big double beds and modern shower rooms.
Little Oak also has a big, deep sofa that is ideal for couples. It sits in front of the double doors that offer lovely views and open up on to your own terrace. Whilst Little Beach doesn't have a sofa, it does have two uber-comfy leather chairs that sit facing out the giant double doors. This really is the ideal spot to sit with your morning coffee soaking in the fresh seaside air. The third hut, Little Willow, is similar in design to the other two and offers two comfy chairs opposite the fireplace that sit either side of a tree stump side table and face out at the lovely view.
All three huts also have their own outdoor copper bath tubs. That means that guests can hop in for a relaxing soak under the stars after a fab day out exploring this beautiful part of Scotland!
When it comes to things to do, lots of people would love to sit on the deck soaking in the view and breathing in the lovely sea air. However, those who wish to head out and explore will be spoiled for choice. Lovers of the great outdoors will delight in wandering the many sandy beaches in the area, or hitting the road and taking in a section of the Southwest 300 route.
The nearby town of Gatehouse of Fleet is just five miles away, and is an nice place to visit during the day. The town also sits on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park which is a stunning location that will please avid walkers and cyclists alike. Be sure to head over for a stroll among the trees, whilst taking in the beautiful views.
