This beautiful yurt offers visitors the joys of camping life with added romance, comfort and luxury. Situated in a private spot on pretty farmland in the middle of a pear and apple orchard, visitors can sit back and truly relax in this most tranquil of settings.
Stunning in the summer, when guests can take full advantage of the yurt's proximity to the amazing views, wildlife and lush greens of the season, while in the cooler months it provides a cosy, romantic base after days getting muddy exploring magnificent Exmoor.
The bathroom facilities are luxurious and well-kept with oodles of hot water and complimentary Faith in Nature toiletries. Large fluffy bath towels and robes are provided for after those long showers.
Head back to the yurt and light the wood-burning fire and sink into the beanbag chairs with a glass of red wine and a good book before making the short trip to bed. At night, lie in the king size bed, snuggled amongst the linens, duvet and blankets, listen to the sound of the owls hooting and stare up at the fabulous domed roof before drifting off to sleep. Wake in the morning to the light pouring through the porthole windows, there are blinds for those who like to rise and shine in their own time, and fresh country air.
Head over to the oak, roofed gazebo which houses the cute kitchen. A large, electric cool box will keep drinks and food stuff chilled and a gas hob makes putting together simple meals a cinch. Tiled flooring keep this attractive timber structure mud-free and sheltered from any sudden gusts. Settle down to breakfast at the wooden table and take a moment from the heat of the day while enjoying the stunning orchard views.
Lazy days can be spent relaxing in the orchard, soaking in the wood-fired hot tub and grilling local catch on the BBQ. At night, revel in the breathtaking night skies, while toasting marshmallows over the fire pit.
Hikers and bikers will love exploring Exmoor and there are many trails to enjoy. Beach lovers should make the 30-minute walk to pretty Bossington with its shingle beach and chocolate box village. After working up an appetite, there are plenty of places to refuel, from the highly recommended Reeves in lovely Dunster to the historic coaching inn, The Blue Ball, which visitors find on the road to Lynmouth.
