Welcome to Shetland View, a stunning Shepherds Hut, set on the owners working farm and nestled in the heart of the hamlet of Henley near Langport. This quirky home enjoys wonderful views over the fields and hills beyond and guarantees an unforgettable break.
Shetland View has a sociable open-plan living room with a smart TV and WiFi for quiet nights in and a cosy log-burning stove to keep you snug on those chillier evenings. There is a lot packed into this cleverly designed space; the dining table seats two in comfort and a sumptuous king size bed folds down over it at night for a spacious and restful sleeping experience. A stable door opens onto the garden where you can sit on the steps with your morning cup of coffee and luxuriate in the rural surroundings.
The rustically charming kitchen has a two-ring hob, a combi oven and fridge with a freezer box so you will be well equipped for preparing romantic dinners for two or rustling up a picnic lunch to take with you on your travels. A welcome pack will provide you with tea, coffee, sugar and milk as well as other complimentary goodies. There is even a little something for your canine companion.
The sleek and modern shower room has a cubicle shower, a heated towel rail for extra comfort and plenty of fluffy towels and toiletries for that spa-like experience.
Outside, you will find a fabulous garden area with a wood-fired hot tub, sun loungers, a table and chairs, as well as a fire pit. With the dark skies here it really is the perfect spot to lay back, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility while gazing at the stars with a glass of bubbly.
There are many walks to be enjoyed directly from Shetland View or head over to Langport and walk the Parret Trail along the River Parret and enjoy the local shops and restaurants in Langport.
