Tucked away at the bottom of a kitchen garden, amongst the fruit trees and rows of vegetables, sits the charming and cosy Rumple Hut. Clad in painted 'wriggly' tin, this inviting bolthole is a magical place to relax and unwind. Double wooden doors lead directly into the open plan, studio-style, space. Wood boards cover the floors and painted tongue and groove clads the walls and curved ceiling.
The kitchen area is utterly charming, with a handsome range-style oven which heats the hut, warms the water and cooks the dinners. The owners have thoughtfully included an electric hob for those preferring an alternative, and the kitchen is filled with all guests may need to prepare meals which can be enjoyed at the cute vintage table for two.
A velvet sofa sits directly opposite the doors which look out onto the pretty garden, an ideal spot to enjoy morning coffee while planning the day and admiring the view.
There are two outdoor areas to enjoy with tables, seating and a Heston Blumenthal Evedure Cube BBQ, and, of course, the wood fired hot tub. Bathrobes and fluffy towels await guests when they emerge from the relaxing waters. When bedtime calls, guests will find the built-in bed irresistible with its extremely comfortable Eve Hybrid premium mattress, crisp linens and snuggly duvets. There is also a modern and stylish en-suite bathroom with a shower and plenty of hot water.
The shepherds hut is situated in a wonderful location which offers many experiences for guests to enjoy during their stay. The historic city of Bath is just 20 minutes away. Visitors can spend days exploring this example of regency splendour, browse the many independent shops, enjoy the great pubs, restaurants and cafes and relax at the famous Roman baths. Guests may also enjoy an English Heritage history hike from nearby Farleigh Hungerford, with its popular castle, to Bradford upon Avon. Or take a picnic to the banks of the River Frome and take a wild dip.

Prices vary from £75-£110 per weekday night and 120-150 per weekend night.
The stay includes a free wood fired hot tub, that is lit and brought up to temperature ready for you just to get in - it stays warm for hours. Hot tubs on other days incur a small fee.
