Tucked behind private iron gates, at the end of a shrub-lined gravel driveway, guests will be charmed by this lovely shepherd's hut in this quiet spot in the pretty Somerset countryside. A few wooden steps take visitors to the front door of this enchanting corrugated hut, and there is plenty of outside lighting in case of night arrivals. And once inside, visitors will discover everything required for a relaxing stay.
The kitchen area is incredibly well-equipped for a shepherd's hut - there is even a washing machine. Guests will find everything they require to put together everything from romantic dinners to picnics. A handy breakfast bar has two leather swivel bar stools where guests can enjoy meals and pitch in with the cooking, or just keep the cook company and refill glasses. After dinner, head to the living area and sink into the sofa and make plans for the following day, or relax in front of the wall mounted television and enjoy a movie night with your loved one.
When bedtime beckons, the sofa can be extended to become a very good sized double bed. Pull the pretty blind down over the adjacent window and snuggle in the soft linens and duvet for a peaceful sleep. The hut has an en suite with full-sized shower and a pretty stained glass window.
High wooden fences provide total privacy and seclusion, but views of the neighbouring paddocks remain uninterrupted. Guests will love to spend relaxing evenings sitting outside at the outdoor dining furniture, enjoying the calm environment and taking in the last sunny rays of the day.
Underneath a wooden gazebo, festooned in pretty fairy lights, hours can be whiled away in the hot tub. Slide in with a glass of something fizzy and truly unwind in the warm bubbling water. Undercover, it is to be enjoyed whatever weather the British summer time brings.

This is our 3rd stay and it never disappoints us. Always a nice welcome from Colin. The hot tub is clean and looks beautiful at night time with the fairy lights up. The hut is very clean and homely. Always lovey having things in the fridge when we arrive like fresh butter and milk. Bed was a nice upgrade from pulling out the sofa bed and making it. Thankyou again for making it such a lovely break for us and our special hamper you had left for us ?? You know we will be back ???? Rhiannon and Shane x

what a nice peaceful place the little hamper they give you is great , good location by local pubs but unfortunately we wouldn't be back due to our overall experience Facilities equipment wasn't great a lot of the utensils were dirty owners defiantly needs to inspect items that would be used for the stay and the bed in the picture is not the bed you stay in, it was a sofa bed that you pull out again not an issue per say but it was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever stayed in , also we ran out of gas for the heating around midnight so we were freezing all night not good for a winter stay. Owner did offer for us to come back due to this , so week booked in again to then be told they double booked us and to book another date after chasing them a few times to book back in with no response , so we wouldn't go back now anyway due to the lack of communication from them communication is key when booking remote places like these and they lack this unfortunately.
