On the edges of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath, in the village of Charlcombe, sits The Ridge. Built on the site of a former horse stables, this modernist gem enjoys arresting valley views and affords guests access to 10-acres of private meadow and ancient woodland. The house's interior is just as slick and contemporary as the exterior would suggest, although it's not without its homely charm either. All mod cons are provided here and, sleeping up to 12-guests across five bedrooms, The Ridge is ideal for groups of friends or family, young and old.
The expansive and open-planned living area serves as the nucleus of the house, offering spectacular views through large picture windows which bathe the room in natural light. The lounge area has three large, comfortable couches, all orientated around the big flat screen TV. The ultra-modern kitchen comes fully equipped with all mod cons and boasts an island breakfast bar, making it ideal for preparing evening meals for you and your fellow guests. The dining table seats eight guests and looks out onto the surrounding valleys, making dinner times a joy.
There are five bedrooms in all, with four on the west wing of the house. There are two king size bedrooms with ensuites, one standard double room, and one twin room. The north side houses one additional bedroom with twin single bunk beds. The office area also contains a sofa bed, so this can function as a sixth bedroom if required. The family bathroom has a WC, basin, and large, walk-in rainfall shower. Outside The Ridge, there is a patio running alongside the house (with outdoor seating) and a grassy garden area for the kids to play on.
Charlcombe is a quaint little village with a 12th Century church and views of the famed Solsbury Hill. The surrounding countryside is ideal for those who enjoy the great outdoors, being replete with gorgeous walking and cycling trails. For those more urban-inclined guests, you will be perfectly positioned just a short drive from Bath's town centre. Known for and named after its Roman-built baths, the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's most famous spa towns. Its numerous places of interest include the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Royal Crescent, Bath Skyline, and its many fine examples of Georgian architecture. Royal Victoria Park also hosts a variety of carnivals and seasonal events throughout the year. And that is without mentioning the city’s shopping, cafés, restaurants, and vibrant nightlife.

Our pricing is dynamic so varies significantly anywhere from £375 mid week in January for example, to £1,650 per night over Christmas.
Weekends are a 3 night minimum, whilst mid week is 2 night minimum.
There is a 4 night minimum over Xmas/New Year.
