Sandane, Norway
An off-grid treetop haven on the west coast of Norway, featuring jaw-dropping views of the sparkling fjord and snow-capped mountains.

With their fjords, mountains, and vast expanses of greenery, the landscapes of Norway are unsurpassed in their unique ability to take the breath away. So, what if you could relax and enjoy some of the very best of this spectacular scenery, from the comfort of your own treehouse-for-two?
Secluded from public view, the space is deliciously romantic, with a cosy bed and comfy seating positioned to face huge floor-to-ceiling windows. There are no electronic distractions like television and WiFi, your entertainment is drinking in those spectacular fjord and mountain views for as long as you like through the panoramic windows. Refreshing.
There's a separate hut that's home to a toilet and sink (please note, there is no shower or bathroom on the property), while if you're in the mood for a leisurely hike, there's a magnificent waterfall close by. Just make sure you're back in time to catch that amazing sunset over the mountain!
The cottages are organically built and integrated in nature. They move with the wind, and the birds build nests in the built-in bird crates in the dressing. During summer, with the long bright days, the space is the perfect place to relax between the threes after a long day of mountain biking or hiking. The Trivselskogen woods where you are placed are laced with hiking trails and nature experiences within walking distance from the cabins. During autumn, you can experience what it's like high up in the trees when the leaves fall from their branches. During winter, you can go cross-country skiing in the newly-prepared cross-country ski slopes at Kleivane. Or, if you are in the market for a bigger challenge, you can go ski touring in the mountains around the cabins!
And then spring is upon us. The trees get back to life, the birds sing and the lambs at Engeset Farm jumps joyfully around the cabin. Even if you are just here for the view, nature and tranquility, it is not far to the city centre. There is the Trivselshallen sports hall with climbing wall and swimming facilities. The Gloppen Hotel, renowned for its good cuisine based on local produce, is also located in Sandane village and all your coffee needs are catered for at the Lauget Café.
