The Nest is a peaceful romantic retreat nestled in the Suffolk countryside. This earth-sheltered house has a lovely exterior that blends nicely into the scenery, with a wildflower meadow on its roof and a whitewashed front with arched glass doors that open up onto a private pebbled courtyard.
When you step inside, you’ll love the cosy interiors and the gently curved ceiling. When the weather’s cool, underfloor heating keeps toes toasty and warm and on hot days you can open up the glass doors letting the fresh country air in. Step outside and get comfy on your sun loungers where you can unwind with a good book or enjoy a morning coffee in peace.
On rainy days, you can spend your time on the leather sofa in the lounge chatting the day away with your loved one or enjoying a movie on the Smart TV.
Whip up a feast in the nicely equipped kitchen, or get grilling on your firepit BBQ. There’s a quaint dining table for two inside, that’s perfect for romantic dinners, however, on sunny days, you’ll want to dine alfresco on your outdoor dining table whilst soaking in your surroundings and making the most of those stunning meadow views.
When the sun sets, sit around the firepit and toast marshmallows then head inside for a peaceful night’s sleep in the super-comfy king size bed. There’s a bathroom at The Nest too, with a shower and hairdryer, and extra comfort is added thanks to sustainably sourced Egyptian cotton linen and fluffy towels.
Nature lovers will adore this stay, where you can experience a deeper connection to the land and seasons. Wake to the sunrise over nearby woodlands, relax by an open fire as the evening birds begin their chorus or step outside at night to gaze up at a sky filled with stars.
