Constructed using the finest of materials and decorated to the highest of standards, The Mill House is a striking example of contemporary meets traditional. This self-catering property sleeps up to 10 and has ample space throughout, providing the perfect social space for you and your fellow lodgers. The Mill House is situated on Little Comfort Farm, a picturesque 70-acre segment of North Devon. Activities on the farm include fishing on the farm's private lake, buying fresh organic produce from the farm store, a games room (table tennis anyone?), morning animal feeding (complimentary), nature discovery sessions with owners Jodie and Jeremy (additional fees apply), and an abundance of ancient woodland to explore. The Mill House is sure to provide the perfect getaway for friends and family alike.
The property sleeps up to 10 guests, spread across double and twin bedrooms. Both lower ground floor king size bedrooms contain their own private south facing breakfast terraces, along with ensuite bathrooms. On the upper ground floor there are two twin bedrooms: one with ensuite and one with the wheelchair accessible family bathroom adjacent. Lastly, there is one twin bedroom with a shower room opposite. All living areas are on the upper ground floor and are wheelchair accessible. Their open-planned design makes them ideal social spaces. The south facing lounge comes with a wood burning stove, plush sofas, and scenic views, while the kitchen comes fantastically equipped. You can even enjoy a morning coffee by the breakfast bar! The dining room seats up to 12 guests around the dining table. Step outside the Mill House to enjoy your very own private enclosed garden, complete with BBQ, outdoor furniture, and a sheltered decking area.
You are sure to have everything that you need to fill out the most relaxing of weekends on Little Comfort Farm. However, if you wish to venture a little further, you will not be stuck for things to do. There are several world class golf courses within a short drive, including Saunton, Ilfracombe, and Royal North Devon - England's oldest golf course. For the nature lover, Exmoor National Park is less than a half hour's drive. The area is also known for its many picturesque beaches, such as Woolacombe, Putsborough, and Saunton. If you enjoy the waves, then you're in luck. The Devon coastline is known for its various surfing spots, with the nearby Croyde Bay being a particular highlight. Local towns and villages include Saunton, Barnstable, and Ilfracombe - the latter being home to several fine restaurants.
