  The Detail...

Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay in a pretty shepherds hut that offers 180 degree views across the Vale of the Red Horse. Located in a five acre meadow near the Warwickshire town of Banbury in the Cotswolds, it is the perfect place to get away from it all.

Sleeping up to two people, the hut has been lovingly crafted with creativity and quality workmanship at the forefront. The open plan space comprises of a fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, electric oven, and fridge/freezer, as well as a spacious seating area with dining table and a TV and DVD player hidden behind sliding doors. This also doubles up as a bedroom, with the double bed simply folding down and revealing a shuttered window in the process.

There is a separate bathroom with large shower, toilet, and a Moroccan-style basin. WiFi and a range of board games keep those staying entertained, although getting into the great outdoors is what this location is really all about. Sit out on the private patio and enjoy food on the barbecue/fire pit, while taking in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

The Look Out is close to two walking paths, which both lead to nearby attractions. Both the Castle Pub in Edgehill and the Rose and Crown in Ratley are worth a visit and are only 20 and 25 minutes away respectively on foot. The village of Radway is also a must for history lovers as the church is home to a museum collection about the battle of Edgehill - the first of the civil war.

For those who want to venture a little further afield there is plenty more to discover in the area by car. Stratford on Avon - the home of Shakespeare - Leamington Spa, Oxford, and shopping at Bicester Village are all within 45 minutes and are also accessible by train from Banbury. Alternatively, head out into the Cotswolds and see the pretty villages and National Trust highlights such as Blenheim Palace and Hidcote House and Garden.

Edgars says...
"I used to stay in loads of different hotels in different places but this time I wanted to try something new. The Look Out is located outside city in lovely countryside with a stunning view, far from noisy city rush, that's why I enjoyed my stay. It was really relaxing, calm and enjoyable. And the view was really beautiful. Owners explained everything, what should I do during my stay, what should I see and so on. And hand made bread with jam for breakfast it was really thoughtful. Definitely will stay again during summer."

Gemma says...
"Wow what a great place to stay. We were in complete awe of everything in and outside of The Look Out. Everything we needed/wanted had been provided for us (teabags, coffee, sugar, even Scrabble which we played every night!). Loved that there was a bottle of fresh milk awaiting us in the fridge for a cup of tea (I haven't seen milk in a glass bottle for years!) and homemade bread and biscuits. Brenda, Norman and Katie were terrific hosts and and are on hand should you need them. We would definitely recommend The Look Out to anyone wanting a peaceful/relaxing break away."

Sasha Mahon says...
"We were the first guests to experience the Look Out and we absolutely loved It.
If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay then this is the place to come to! It had everything you needed even home made bread and biscuits. We felt so welcome and received a bottle of champagne in the fridge which went down a treat. The walks around the area are stunning and cannot fault the service from Brenda and Norman.
We cannot wait to come back."
