On a family run farm in the gorgeous Welsh countryside, The Country Yurt is a beautifully designed yurt getaway where attention to detail and uncompromising design have created a truly magical getaway. With bright starry skies, fresh eggs in the morning, and a private hot tub set in your very own quarter acre, The Country Yurt is the perfect self-catering escape for couples and individuals looking to spend time in a peaceful, pastoral setting.
The Country Yurt enjoys total privacy in the corner of the rural Welsh farm, enjoying exclusive access to the amenities. A cosy interior has been cleverly crafted using a butler sink, king sized oak bed, reclaimed pine table, and even a wood-burning stove. A nearby eco-washroom, a few steps from the yurt, has been cleverly converted to a bathroom, complete with hot shower, wash basin, and a compost toilet.
With a large translucent window in the crown of the Yurt, and nothing but the peaceful chatter of the surrounding fauna, The Country Yurt is the perfect destination for those seeking a back to nature retreat in the heart of Wales. Whatever the season, weather, or time of day, from the fruit bushes nearby to the outdoor cooking station, there are countless romantic and restorative endeavours for your to throw yourselves into without even leaving your own private patch of paradise.
Greenery, wooded hills, and the golden, lingering Welsh light abound in this unspoiled parcel of Welsh bliss. Guests will be pleased to learn that their bookings help fund the work of Malawi-based charities supporting child education and ambitious reforestation projects. You can find out more about both of these endeavours by visiting www.fromwales.com.
Guests are drawn to this area of staggering beauty in order to spend time outside, exploring the rugged and dramatic topography of the region. Whether you are a first time walker or experienced rambler, the footpaths and hiking trails are guaranteed to delight you, while those preferring to mountain bike, climb, canoe, sail, or boulder also have a treat in store. For day trips, consider taking a guided boat tour from Tenby harbour to see Caldey Island, home to Cisterian Monks, or the hundreds of puffins settled on Skomer Island. For those with an interest in history and architecture, Carreg Castell Cennen is unmissable. One of the many castles found throughout the surrounding area, it is a well preserved edifice with a crucial role in the ancient Anglo-Welsh battles, sitting above an accessible limestone dungeon.
