This pair of stunning, modern cabins are both tucked in the picturesque Lancashire countryside, offering couples a place in which to unwind amidst beautiful scenery, peace and tranquillity.
The two cabins, The Anglezarke and The Yarrow - are set on a working farm with sprawling views that stretch from the rolling hills of Lancashire all the way to the distant peaks of Wales. Both of these cabins offer you and your loved one the chance to unwind with a glass of wine watching the sunset or lace up your boots to explore the nearby trails. Outside, each cabin boasts a superb outdoor wellness bath that invites you to soak under the stars in your plush bathrobe, while a private seating area and BBQ add the perfect touch for alfresco dining.
The Anglezarke cabin draws inspiration from the stunning Anglezarke Reservoir, the largest in the Rivington chain, and boasts captivating views toward Lead Mine Clough and the surrounding Anglezarke countryside. Nature lovers will delight in wandering the nearby waterside woodland trail, a peaceful stroll that winds through lush greenery and by shimmering waters. The calm, fresh air and gentle sounds of the countryside create a perfect setting for reconnecting with nature and each other.
Just a stone’s throw away, The Yarrow cabin overlooks the scenic Yarrow Reservoir, famous for its cascading waterfall that spills gracefully into Anglezarke. This cabin is especially welcoming to your four-legged friends, as it is dog friendly, just be sure to keep your well-behaved pups on a lead given the farm setting. The gentle sounds of the waterfall and birdsong create a soothing soundtrack for your stay here, complementing the cabin’s peaceful, cosy vibe.
When it comes to amenities, both cabins boast sleek, contemporary interiors where modern design meets countryside charm. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the spaces with natural light, highlighting the pristine lines and thoughtful touches throughout. A king size bed promises restful nights, while a comfy sofa and bistro dining area offer the perfect spots to relax indoors. The open wardrobe and dressing area come complete with a hairdryer, making it easy to prepare for a day of exploring or an evening out.
Every detail has been considered to enhance your stay: an ensuite bathroom features a spacious double shower, and the kitchenette includes handy appliances like an air fryer and dual hob. Stay connected with smart TVs equipped with Netflix and reliable WiFi, or simply bask in the comfort of hot and cold air-sourced heating combined with soothing underfloor heating.
The Cabins are perfectly located for exploring the beautiful and activity-rich area surrounding Rivington Village. Just outside the village on Dean Head Lane, you’ll find yourself moments from breathtaking walks and scenic views. Discover the famous Rivington Pike, Winter Hill and three stunning reservoirs, all part of what’s known as Lancashire’s "Mini Lake District”. Visit the popular Rivington Brewery Tap Room for craft beers and street food, enjoy breakfast or fine dining at Spring Cottage and McLeod 9 or relax at The Yew Tree Inn. Adventure-seekers can paddleboard at the Anderton Centre or zipline with Go Ape.
