And that is without even mentioning the enchanting surrounding countryside.
Temple Guiting is as elegant as one might expect, with period features found throughout, including vaulted ceilings, timber beams lavish furnishings, and ornate artwork. It is comprised of several buildings; the Manor House, a beautiful and historically rich 15th Century country house; a meticulously renovated five-bedroom barn; two peaceful one-bedroom hideaways, the enclosed Cow Byre and the Grade I listed Peacock Shed; and the three bedroom granary. All in all, this makes up 15 sumptuously decorated bedrooms with 18 beds, sleeping up to 36 guests. There are also 14 bathrooms on site.
Numerous shared spaces are found throughout the estate, including - but not limited to - two living rooms, two dining rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining hall, a games room, and even a private cinema.
Guests are welcome to explore the almost 15 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, along with the various other outdoor areas to enjoy. A large charcoal BBQ is free to use, while outdoor seating can be found throughout the estate, making for the perfect al fresco dining experience. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, then maybe a spot of tennis will.
For those wishing to leave the confines of the estate, the surrounding area is host to a number of points of interest. Cotswold Farm Park is great for children, and barely a five-minute drive. Sudeley Castle, Broadway Tower, and The Model Village are all within a 10-mile radius, too. Cheltenham and Gloucester are both less than a 30-minute drive, while the medieval university city of Oxford lies an hour to the South East. If it is picturesque countryside you are after, then you will be in the perfect place. Temple Guiting sits right in the middle of the Cotswolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Known for its striking scenery, rolling hills, and storybook Cotswold stone villages, it is a favourite of nature lovers.
