The Details
Part of a superb, modern warehouse development in the centre of Whistable, Tangaroa is a wonderful four-storey family home offering wonderful sea views. Located in Sea Street, overlooking Reeves Beach, this fantastic house is a short stroll from the beach and sleeps up to seven guests across three bedrooms.
When you arrive, you’ll want to drop your bags off in your room before gathering in the stunning living room on the top floor, where huge glass doors and windows offer you the perfect view of the sea. Get comfy on the giant L-shaped sofa with a drink in hand or step out onto your private balcony and enjoy a tipple whilst breathing in that fresh sea air. The lounge also features a telescope for spotting boats as well as a smart TV for movie nights and a selection of board games.
The open-plan, hand-built Neptune kitchen is another wonderful space in which to socialise with your loved ones and is fantastically equipped for whipping up delicious meals during your stay. The kitchen is kitted out with modern facilities including a built-in oven, induction hob, individual full size fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a dining table and six chairs, as well as two bar stools, meaning you can sit at the counter top with a drink in hand as your loved one prepares dinner. The kitchen also has floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open up onto a tiled terrace, with some wicker sofas and an alfresco dining table that makes summer meal times a joy.
Spread across the upper floors, the three bedrooms offer versatile and stylish sleeping options for families or groups of friends. Bedroom one doubles as a cosy kids' lounge, and sleeps two on a double sofa-bed. It features a smart TV, Nintendo Switch and handy storage. Bedroom two is a cheerful triple room ideal for little ones, with three single beds, books and direct access to a family bathroom. The showstopper is the master bedroom, which is a spacious king size room with a private balcony, jaw-dropping sea views and an ensuite shower for added privacy. Thoughtful touches like a walk-in wardrobe, dressing table and soft lighting make it the perfect grown-up retreat after a day at the beach.
