Solo Office KGDVS is a luxurious getaway in a beautiful Spanish forest. This modern, stylish holiday home complements its beautiful natural surroundings nicely offering guests a peaceful and relaxing stay. The circular building in the mountainous region of Matarrana flows around a large courtyard garden with a swimming pool.

With spectacular views across the nature reserve on which the property is located, there is a real sense of bringing the outside in. All of the metal facades which encase Solo Office KGDVS can be fully opened to reveal the landscape beyond in all its glory. Inside the clever design and architecture has used the support posts to separate the bedroom and living areas from each other. While the sleeping quarters can be closed off, the rest of the house is open to its surroundings.

The holiday home sleeps six guests across three stylish and sleek bedrooms. Minimalist in their design, each has a king size bed and storage. They have been constructed to act as their own private houses, with a bathroom with tub and seated section included. The fourth enclosed space is home to the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The intersecting communal areas are created to be fluid with their surroundings, with the contemporary furnishings of the dining table and chairs, loungers, and other seating able to be moved from inside to out with minimal effort.

With the house effectively being off-grid it is also self-sufficient. Solar panels supply the heating and electricity, while water is collected on the roof and then purified through a filtration system and stored in tanks. It is a truly unique design and the brainchild of French developer, Christian Bourdais - who works with a new wave of young and inspiring architects.

The surrounding area, known as the Tuscany of Spain, offers many opportunities for hiking, cycling, and generally exploring. However, Solo Office KGDVS is also only two hours from Barcelona. Spain’s second city and the capital of Catalonia, it is a buzzing metropolis bursting with culture and things to do. Stroll along Las Ramblas, sunbathe on the beaches, and take in the glory of Sagrada Familia. With 20 Michelin stars in the city, there are also endless opportunities for great eating and drinking.
