Overlooking the serene shores of Knock Bay and the azure Sound of Sleat, the Garden of Skye will take your breath away. Lush rolling hills frame crystal clear waters, while never-ending skies gleam down over the stunning landscape. With panoramic views of land, sea and mountains, it is an idyllic place where you reconnect with Mother Nature.
Blending seamlessly in with this wild, coastal backdrop is the Skye Window House and its luxury accommodation. Purposefully designed to bring the beauty of the outdoors in, it has large floor-to-ceiling windows and clear roof glazing. Watch mesmerising sunsets and star-lit skies without even having to leave the warmth of the fire. Finished with the highest quality materials and with a relaxed Scandinavian-feel, it lets the calm and soothing atmosphere of the outdoors seep in.
The open-plan living and kitchen area has uninterrupted views with huge double aspect windows opening out onto the terrace. Two sumptuous pale blue armchairs gaze casually out and are joined by a designer table and state of the art kitchen gadgets. Pure white walls and solid oak floors give it a nude and minimalist touch that lets the rich colours of the flourishing landscape radiate throughout.
Three gorgeous bedrooms can be found spread out around the house, sleeping up to five in complete and utter bliss. The downstairs master bedroom opens out onto the sun terrace and has a carefully hand-crafted oak bed and views out over the Highlands. A second double room can also be found upstairs with a deluxe en-suite and an indulgent roll top bath. The third and final bedroom provides room for an extra one and has a comfortable pull-out bed with contemporary furnishings.
The Isle of Skye is recognised as being one of the most beautiful islands in the world and has inspirational scenery and an intense feel of tranquillity. Its secluded scenes are full of mystery and intrigue and provide an unforgettable backdrop for your island experience. Walk along the rocky bay or up one of the gentle mountain peaks before heading to the magical Fairy Pools or to one of the traditional local pubs. With award-winning restaurants and phenomenal wildlife, this south-east part of the island has everything you could wish for.
