The Details...

Don your Hunter wellies and brush off your Barbour jacket before setting off in search of this Suffolk, country residence. Surrounded by 4,500 acres of stunning, landscaped gardens, it is the quintessential epitome of noble, country living. Imagine scenic, rural walks and hazy days on the water, followed by picnics in the field or in the wildflower meadows. At night you can become a part of the stylish, landowner gentry, holding seductive, black tie dinners and evening soirees.

Sibton Park Manor is set within this sprawling, rural estate and is a grade II-listed mansion dating back to the 19th century. Its impressive Georgian façade sits at the end of a winding, private driveway and has a grand, pillared entrance overlooking the shimmering lake waters.

Beyond its elegant hallway you’ll find rooms of epic proportions, each brimming with handpicked antiques and a genteel country fashion. Admire the intricate, Chinoiserie wallpaper or the historic, portrait paintings before carefully eyeing the elaborate dressers or the delicate, porcelain trinkets.

Its classic array of rooms are typical of the period and are perfect for relaxed, group get-togethers and formal, social gatherings. Enjoy lazy days in the cinema or a civilised game of chess, along with ping pong in the games room or a session in the gym. As evening falls, let the party begin with roaring, log fires and pre-dinner drinks. Try canapes in the drawing room or a cocktail on the terrace, before heading to the dining room for a hearty, three-course banquet.

As the fine wine flows and bedtime beckons, you can follow the marble staircase up to your luxurious quarters. With 12 decadent double bedrooms spread across two spacious floors, there is plenty of room for groups of up to 24. Each of the bedrooms has a unique finish, featuring an eclectic mix of vintage furniture and luxuriant fabrics. Flat screen TV’s add a modern touch and are joined by 8 en-suites and 3 large, family bathrooms.

The flourishing estate has been carefully restored and is a magnificent showcase of the lush, Suffolk countryside. Discover enchanting, little woodlands and rolling hillsides, along with landscaped pastures and rare wildlife species. Crystal-clear lakes glimmer amongst the fields and are joined by an open-air swimming pool and sunken hot tub. Endless country pursuits can also be arranged on request, and include everything from clay pigeon shooting to wildlife watching.
