  The Detail...

Forge your own fantastical tale of Middle-earth-inspired endeavours at this enchanting hobbit hole in the spellbinding Suffolk woodlands. Weaving legendary storybook whimsy with the curious wonders of Mother Nature, Pod Hollow is the start of your own epic, glamping adventure. Journey through idyllic, fairy-tale forests and historic Anglo-Saxon villages, taking rest at Peter Pans twisted roots or in the secret Kings Forest clearings. With a magical country setting and a weird and wonderful dwelling, this is the place for unforgettable storytelling.

Pod Hollow is set in its own bountiful woodland dell, hidden beneath the emerald rolls of a flourishing grassy knoll. Gnarled forest trees surround its sweet picket fence, and look down on its curved, grass-topped roof and iconic hobbit ingress. Peer through its quirky portal windows and light its atmospheric lantern, before plucking up the courage to enter the depths of the fabled cavern.

Bound through its round, wooden door straight into the realms of make-believe, exploring its other-worldly chambers packed with precious antiques. Expect astonishing curved walls and peculiar, handcrafted archways, framed by rustic wooden beams and vintage-style panelling. Aged doors and period furniture add to its ancient character, while contemporary fittings and plush furnishings give it a modern sense of comfort.

Map out your next quest in the fanciful living room with its classic, comfy sofas and intricate dining table. Theres a crackling log fire for those cosy nights in, along with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Afternoon picnics and evening feasts can be rustled up in the well-equipped kitchen, which is complete with chic wooden cupboards and designer appliances.

At night, you can indulge in a wistful sleep in one of the two double bedrooms with their sumptuous king-size beds. Listen to the sound of birdsong and wait for the early morning sunrise, washing away the daydreams in the fitted family bathroom. A single pull-out bed is also available for little heads and makes this hobbit dwelling suitable for up to four adults and one child.

While away your days in Suffolks Tolkien-esque playground, travelling through the wild woods and vibrant, open countryside. Discover the nearby Kings Forest and the tranquil Lackford Lakes, or the archaeological gem of West Stows Anglo-Saxon Village. Take part in heroic battles and famous re-enactments, trying your hand at archery or embarking on a Middle-earth excursion. The heritage town of Bury St Edmunds is also just 4 miles away, along with a wealth of beautiful gardens and stunning wildlife areas.
