Simple and stylish and full of contemporary luxury, these larch-clad lodges, with panoramic views of the Lincolnshire countryside, make the perfect place to unwind and relax. The lodges both share almost identical interiors and can be booked separately for couples or together for one group requiring two separate spaces.
When you arrive you can drop your bags in the entrance hall and head straight to the open plan living areas. These lovely space are full of natural light and have splendid views across the garden and beyond. The kitchens are modern, have rise and fall work tops and are fully-equipped with everything cooks need for preparing delicious meals. Spacious dining tables sit ready to be covered in plates of gorgeous grub and bottles of wine for relaxing holiday dinners which stretch well into the night.
Bi-fold doors lead guests directly onto the lovely patios where they can spend sunny days grilling lunch on the BBQ, sipping wine at the patio tables or warming up, in the wood fired hot tubs. Meadow Lodge has doors leading directly from the master bedroom to the patio, so guests can access the shower without having to pass through the living area. Both huts have their own private lawned gardens which are fully enclosed so parents can sit back and unwind knowing their little ones are playing safely. At night, grab the marshmallows for a toasty evening by the fire pit spotting shooting stars in the clear night sky.
Should the evening air turn nippy, head back inside and get cosy in the lovely lounge areas with their plush velvet sofas and integrated electric wood burners. Enjoy a movie with the family or put the little ones to bed and indulge in a night cap while planning the next day's activities.
And, at the end of chilled days, exploring and relaxing, each lodge has two wonderful bedrooms which guarantee a great night's sleep. Guests will easily nod off on the super-comfy mattresses, amongst the crisp cotton sheets and cosy duvets. The first bedroom in each lodge is set up as a super-king size room and can also be configured as a twin on request. The second bedroom is set up as a twin, however, can be rearranged as a king size room on request.
Buttercup Lodge has a large, modern family bathroom, which can be accessed directly from both bedrooms, while Meadow Lodge boasts an ensuite as well as the shared bathroom.
The lodges are wonderfully located for those who love countryside, fabulous sandy beaches and historic homes. Spend a day walking the Fens, swimming and crabbing at Anderby Creek or exploring Easton Walled Gardens followed by dinner in one of the lovely local pubs. The Chomeley Arms at Burton Coggles, The Green Man at Ropsley and The Woodman's Arms at Corby Glen all come recommended.
