The detail

This historical Greek getaway is the ideal setting to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and get back to nature.

Situated on the original 18th Century ruins this three-bedroom villa is situated in the rural area of Kirparissonas, but still maintains the luxury needed for a relaxing holiday.

Built in original stone from the area, this stunning property mixes traditional and stylish design to create an authentic haven for families and friends to enjoy.

An open plan living area is perfect for the six to eight people the villa accommodates, with wooden ceilings, antiques and a feature fireplace. Then head into the farmhouse-style kitchen and then onto the large stone terrace and its stunning views across to the island of Evia.

Outside you will also find another dining area, private pool and spacious grounds. Access to the pool house is also available upon request.

The master bedroom also looks out over the stunning surrounding landscape, while the two twin bedrooms each have their own separate bathroom to create the perfect environment for a family holiday.

If you would like to try some traditional Greek cuisine created from fresh local products then there are local families on hand for an authentic dining experience. Take these new skills back to the open plan kitchen - which is fully equipped with white goods and a coffee machine - and cook up a feast of your own.

Step just outside of the villa and the beautiful surrounding countryside is just begging to be explored. There are many mountain walks, which offer both peace and quiet and spectacular views.

Take a short day trip into Central Greece and visit the magnificent monastery of Meteora, spectacular Plastira Lake, or Mount Oeta and its beautiful archaeological sites.

Despite feeling like you are in your own secluded paradise, the Mediterranean Sea and nearby towns are just a short drive away. Kirparissonas produces its own virgin olive oil, thyme honey, oregano and olives, which can be acquired here.

From cosy nights in during the winter, to long summer evenings by the pool, this villa is ideal for all seasons.
