With delightful views out over St Mawes Harbour and the beautiful Carrick Headlands, this coastal Cornish retreat sleeps 10 guests in five lovely bedrooms.
The bright and airy living room features huge glass sliding doors that open up onto the spacious balcony, complete with comfy outdoor furniture. The lounge itself has three sofas positioned around a large TV that’s perfect for movie nights. Or simply grab a glass of wine and settle in for a night of socialising whilst gazing out at the sea.
When the weather’s warm head out into the spacious enclosed garden that features an extensive patio, large wraparound balcony and colourful borders that are filled with pretty flowers and lovely olive trees. Out here you can sit on the sun loungers, beanbags and outdoor seating whilst soaking up the sunshine. There’s also an outdoor dining spot for some alfresco meals and a gas BBQ to make summer grilling a joy.
Back inside and the modern, spacious kitchen has all you need to prepare delicious feasts during your stay. You and your loved ones can then gather around the large dining table and enjoy meals whilst gazing out of the large floor-to-ceiling windows at the sea view.
There’s also a second living room available with a TV, as well as a cinema room with an extensive DVD library, where you can sneak off and enjoy a movie in peace. All of the TVs in the various reception rooms are smart TVs and have Sky and there’s even a comfy office with a fitted desk, chair and printer for anyone who needs to catch up on a spot of work during their stay.
The home has five delightful bedrooms, all of which are ensuite for added privacy. Four of these rooms have large windows offering glorious garden views and access out onto the landscaped garden and terraces. All of the bedrooms feature high quality bed linen and towels as well as TVs with freeview. There’s even a kids bedroom with bunk beds and two single beds as well as books and toys. The children’s bathroom even comes complete with seaside murals and bath toys as well as a pull-out step so little ones can use the basin.
If you wish to venture out and explore the area, you’ll be delighted to know that St Mawes Beach, Summers Beach, Harbour Beach and Tavern Beach are all just footsteps away. You’re also just an eight minute walk from St Mawes Castle. Lamorran Gardens, an Italianate garden, is a 10 minute walk away and there are also some delightful coastal walks that you can take right from your doorstep. You really are perfectly placed to explore this part of Cornwall.
