The combination of muted colours, large comfortable sofas, and stunning three-metre-wide sky lantern, which floods the space with natural light, creates a laid-back ambience of calm. There is also a Smart TV complete with Netflix and Sky for those movie evenings. On chilly days, make the most of the underfloor heating, and when it’s warm, throw open the bi-fold doors and extend your living area onto the beautiful terrace with its stunning woodland views.

The bespoke kitchen/dining area is a dream for any chef with its island unit and fully integrated high-end appliances. A dining table comfortably seats six people, providing the perfect entertaining space to delight your guests with your culinary skills.

The three double bedrooms all feature en suite bathrooms with showers, luxury bed linen and views out to the garden and woodland beyond. All the bedrooms maintain the restful colour palette seen throughout the rest of the property to ensure a relaxing end to your day and a good night’s sleep.

The stylish woodland patio terrace, with a dining table for six, lounging area, awnings with heaters, lighting, a firepit and BBQ enjoys views of the surrounding woodland and landscaped gardens where you can relax outside in the evenings with a glass of wine, or why not try the famous local Whitby Gin?

From the lawned area, leading down to the beck, you will find an abundance of wildlife including songbirds, fresh-water ducks, squirrels, owls and deer. Relax and unwind with the sound of the two streams that trickle past the cottage.

There is a selection of outdoor and beach equipment provided including spades, buckets, kite, beach trolley, beach chairs, windbreaker, beach games, football, wetsuits, paddle board and bodyboards. So why not make the most of the beach nearby, learn some new skills and have fun?

If you want to venture further than Sandsend, the pretty fishing town of Whitby is within walking distance and is a must for fans of fish and chips. Enjoy strolling through the quaint streets with its multitude of independent shops and visit the Abbey. Further down the coast is Robin Hood’s Bay, a picture-perfect village you won’t want to miss.
