The Details

This marvellous glamping retreat offers three superb dwellings all tucked away in the scenic Barrine countryside in Queensland, Australia. With a delightful glamping tent and two unique railway cabins on offer, you have three comfy and cosy options to choose from, all of which allow you to relax and unwind in style in a truly tranquil setting.

The Bottlebrush Glamping Tent is a safari style tent that offers the perfect combination of outdoor adventure and boutique comforts. Sitting on the edge of a stunning rainforest, this is the ideal place to slow down and take in your beautiful surroundings in style.

The tent is supremely comfy, with air conditioning and a lovely leather sofa where you can unwind in peace. Then, outdoors, there’s a bathtub with hot water so you can enjoy an indulgent soak whilst gazing out over the rainforest. The tent also features a private outdoor firepit, which offers a lovely spot to enjoy an evening drink as the stars come out above. The tent’s king size bed is super-comfy and can also split into two large singles if needed. When it comes to mealtimes, you have a fully equipped kitchen as well as a BBQ for some alfresco grilling.

Up next is the Overlander Train Cabin. This beautiful retreat blends historic charm with luxury, offering you the chance to lounge about in plush bathrobes or spend your evening relaxing on bar-top seating overlooking the farm, rainforest and Lake Tinaroo in the distance. Your private deck also features a top-of-the-line BBQ for grilling up dinner and an alfresco dining area where you can enjoy meals with a view.

Inside, the Overlander Train Cabin has a super-comfy queen size bed and a full kitchen. There’s also a double shower for a touch of luxury and an outdoor firepit for toasting marshmallows beneath the stars.

And last, but most certainly not least, is the superb Ghan Train Carriage. The Ghan Carriage is the most deluxe stay on offer and has some wonderful touches such as the crystal chandler, the polished gold finish and the marble look-a-like bench top. There’s also a luxurious open shower and bath as well as an outdoor firepit for cosy evening drinks. Relax with your loved one around the bar top seating outside and take in the views of the rain forest and Tinaroo dam in the distance. Inside, enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in the queen size bed and wake feeling refreshed and ready to seize the day.

All three of these lovely accommodation options come with the added bonus of some fantastic extras. You’ll receive a small bottle of wine and locally sourced cheese platter on arrival, along with some engraved wine glass and a port decanter. You’ll also have magnesium soak to take your bath to the next level, hot water bottles to keep you warm embroidered plush bath robes to snuggle into and natural soap and body wash.

Whilst you’ll be forgiven for wanting to unwind in peace, if you venture out there’s lots to see and do.
