Boasting stylish interiors and sweeping coastal vistas, they are a sophisticated take on a traditional British favourite. Explore Hampshire’s idyllic Calshot Beach and breathe in the salty sea air, building crumbling sandcastles and sitting out on your vintage, deck chairs.
The two wooden beach huts are part of the prestigious Cadland Estate and have a prime end position in a row of colourful beach cabins. Known as Gullwing and Little Tern, they are eco-friendly coastal hideouts that have solar power, wood burners and views across the Solent.
Each has been designed with absolute comfort in mind and features a spacious open-plan living area with a cosy mezzanine bedroom. Soothing natural shades create a tranquil coastal vibe and include pretty, whitewashed walls and chic wooden floorboards.
Relax on the L-shaped sofas around the family dining tables or cook in the bespoke designer kitchens with their modern gas cookers. Doors open out onto breath-taking sea-view decks that have panoramic views across the sparkling sea bed. Watch boats bobbing by and gaze at the massive open skies, spotting the Isle of Wight and admiring the morning sunrise. At night, you can watch as the moon starts to shine throwing its silvery sheen across the tranquil coastline.
Each luxury hut has an open-plan mezzanine bedroom complete with a master sea-view double and three comfy singles. Snuggle up beneath the fluffy duvets and drift off to the lapping of the waves, before waking in the morning to see the beautiful ocean haze. A contemporary bathroom can also be found back downstairs, with a hot water shower and modern eco-toilet.
Once you’re fully rested and ready to explore, you can discover the New Forest National Park and the sweeping Solent shores. There are magical forest trails and impressive wildlife parks along with massive, open heathlands and rolling, sandy beaches. For the keen and adventurous, there are also plenty of local activities, including kayaking, windsurfing and indoor climbing. Fishing and shooting are available on the local estate, along with a wonderful riding facility amongst the enchanting, forest trails.
When it’s time to relax, you can retreat to your ocean deck or spend a day out visiting the local towns and villages. The bustling port of Lymington is just a short drive away, as is the stunning Lepe Beach with its beautiful country park.
