Set over two floors, Cringle Cottage feels nice and spacious, with an open concept kitchen, diner and lounge, as well as roomy loft conversion living quarters. The décor is modern, tasteful and calming, with soft tones, textures and comfy furnishings throughout. No matter what time of year, guests to the cottage will be delighted by the snug sofas and cosy touches that lend well to sheer relaxation. Stokesley, a quintessentially English market town, is considered to be a hidden gem by those in the know. Its traditional pubs, independent eateries and shops, and the nearby river make it a lovely place to amble about, with no real plans. Slightly further afield, keen walkers and hikers can find themselves in the North York Moors in minutes. And, if timed right, visitors will be blown away by the carpet of purple that displays every year in the form of the heather meadows. The best time to see the heather is late July into August.
