With owner permission, guests may make use of the tennis court and, between May-September, are welcome to use the swimming pool, while also being encouraged to make the most of the wonderful surrounding walks, cycling routes and golf* that this area has to offer. Tennis coaching, personal training and yoga along with wine tasting can be arranged, please speak to the Suffolk Hideaways' office for more details.
Tastefully furnished, Court Barn is full of charm and character. It has a warm and distinctive feel to it – what better place to spend a relaxing break exploring all that this magnificent county has to offer. Cosy up in front of the huge brick fireplace in winter or laze by a lovely, sheltered swimming pool in summer.
Court Barn is situated in the beautiful, gently rolling Suffolk countryside that is closely associated with the world-famous painters, Gainsborough, Constable and Munnings. The Munnings Museum and Flatford Mill are within easy reach of Court Barn and Gainsborough’s House is in Sudbury, a little further away. The countryside in which Court Barn is situated is part of Dedham Vale, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which inspired the painters. There are numerous footpaths and walking routes to explore the area further.
