Nestled in among undulating hills in the South Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is Coppet Hill. A beautiful 600-acre family farm, Coppet has been under the custodianship of the same family for seven decades, with an emphasis on sustainability and love for the land. Here, you will find the Landpods, providing you with an idyllic glamping retreat in perfect peace and quiet. There are two charming pods to choose from: Two Hoots and Little Coppet. Each of these delightful glamping gems is set in its own little slice of paradise. Two Hoots sits alongside a pretty wildlife pond while Little Coppet offers far reaching views of the surrounding countryside and the Dorset hills. Glamping at Coppet Hill is, quite simply, a little bit special.
Although compact, you will have everything you need at the pods. Both sleep four guests in two double bunk beds, while the covered al fresco kitchen provides everything needed to easily prep your meals. Picnic benches and deckchairs can be found on site, as well as a firepit meaning you can stay toasty and warm whilst enjoying your picturesque surroundings. We honestly can't think of a better spot to enjoy an evening meal. Adjacent, you will find a separate bathroom complete with an LPG shower and compost loo. And don't worry about your devices - the Pods have a solar-powered electricity supply too.
At Coppet Hill, guests will be perfectly positioned to explore all that the South Dorset AONB - and beyond - has to offer. The area is a hotbed for wildlife activity, from the various birdlife to the families of deer that can be found wandering through the nearby woodland. For the get up and goers, there are over eight miles of walking and hiking trails. From Coppet Hill, views stretch from Portland Bill in the east to Beer Head in the west. The kids will also love exploring the woods or having a wander through the new 10-acre sunflower maze. And for the bigger kids, the area has plenty of pub walks! Just three miles to the south you will find the Jurassic Coast. This designated world heritage site stretches for almost a hundred miles and boasts 185 million years of geological history.
