Here, guests can enjoy all the peace and quiet the island has to offer as you cosy up in front of the wood burning stove and enjoy the stunning views through the enormous picture window. For those with itchy feet, you will be ideally positioned to explore all that the island has to offer. Sleeping a maximum of two guests, this island gem is a retreat perfectly suited to those couples who need nothing more than a gorgeous setting and each other's company.
High ceilings and a bright colour pallet give Blue Moon Studio a light and spacious air, while regionally sourced artwork and furnishings can be found throughout, adding a distinctly local feel to your stay. The living area is open planned, with a flat screen TV, a couch, and a cosy wood burning stove. However, the main focal point of the entire property is the huge picture window which offers uninterrupted clifftop views across the island.
The kitchen area houses a double oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. A small dining table and chairs sit adjacent. The bedroom has a luxurious king size bed, and the bathroom has a sink, WC, and large Drench shower. Outside and to the back of the property you will find the garden, complete with decking and chairs. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a tipple as you survey the arresting coastal vistas.
The Isle of Skye is one of the UK's most undisturbed landscapes, where craggy coastlines, mountains, and rugged hills puncture the horizon. Blue Moon Studio overlooks Lochbay and the area of Waternish, which is home to a charming pub, Lochbay restaurant, and Diver’s Eye Boat Trips. The area also has several walking trails, including forestland and cliff top routes. A 15-minute drive away is Dunvegan, a charming little village which is home to shops, cafés, restaurants and, of course, its namesake castle. Portree, the largest town and capital of Skye, is a 30-minute drive. -Be sure to take a walk through the quaint streets and check out its famous harbour.
The nearest pub is 1.5 miles away - normally takes 20 -25 minutes to walk. There are numerous excellent restaurants, all pubs serve food.
The beaches are rocky shores, not sand
