Please note that the minimum stay for this property is 2 nights
High ceilings, a stylish interior and a lovely garden make this pretty converted barn a wonderful spot where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the farm surroundings. This marvellous barn has a glorious open plan living space where visitors feel immediately at home, as well as making a fantastic area for entertaining. A stunning vaulted ceiling has a multitude of original beams that stand out against the clean, crisp whitewashed ceiling which enhances the, already plentiful, light. Stylish pendant lights swing from the rafters, illuminating the trendy kitchen area.
Easily mistaken for the bar in a cool pub, the kitchen has a long, high counter which runs against one wall of the barn, hiding the kitchen appliances and cupboards, and making a great place to hang out. Stock up on your favourite mixers and put the cocktail shaker to good use, while guests kick back and chat to the cook, as they chop and sauté away. A large dining table with room for eight sits handily close to the kitchen, great when reaching for forgotten condiments and extra spoons, and there are lovely views through patio doors leading out to the garden and beyond.
A luxurious sitting area comprises of two identical deep, high-backed sofas which sit opposite each other, comfy and cosy, and perfect for late nights chatting and laughing. A large flat-screen, wall-mounted television offers guests the chance to binge box sets or enjoy the latest sporting events. On sunny days and warm evenings, decamp to the lovely garden where sun lounger's and patio furniture await guests looking to enjoy al fresco dinners and lazy afternoons dozing under the shades of a well-worn paperback. Guests also have a bathroom on offer complete with a shower.
The interior has been thoughtfully designed with lovely, original touches, such as the spent cartridge bar front and the rosette display, and this runs throughout the property. A kingsize bed has a luxurious linen headboard and guests can enjoy their morning coffee from amongst the crisp sheets and snuggly duvet.
And when it's time to explore, there is much to do in the local area. Take a pretty walk across country footpaths to the traditional pub The Gamekeepers, with flag stone floors and a large fireplace, great food and a large beer garden. Or explore the nearby canal trails. And, due to its great location, the Barn makes a great place to stay for guests visiting the nearby Farnborough Airshow or the races at Ascot. Guests may also want to visit the Andwells Microbrewery and try a variety of lovely, locally brewed IPAs and lagers. The brewery also has a number of great pop-up events throughout the year, so keep your eyes peeled! The wonderful Newlyns Farm shop and delicatessen is also near by and offers fab local produce and homemade meals, plus a nice cafe and cookery courses.
