Immerse yourself in the stunning Scottish Highlands at Waterfall Lodge, with its spectacular views across Loch Tay and Ben Lawers mountain. The lodge sits in a beautiful and tranquil space beside a cascading waterfall offering you peace and tranquility in a gorgeous natural setting.
This three-bedroom property has been refurbished to ensure a luxurious stay that is perfect for a getaway with friends or family. The lodge sleeps 6 with a double bedroom with ensuite and 2 further twin bedrooms. There is also a larger family bathroom.
The large living room is the heart of the house, complete with log burning stove, TV and DVD player and comfy seating areas. This beautifully designed open plan space has a kitchen equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave and a dining area with table big enough to seat 6.
Doors then open out onto a balcony which stretches the entire length of the lodge and is furnished with tables and chairs. This leads to the real luxury of the property, with a decked area overlooking the loch as well as the waterfall and cascade pool - a perfect space for a barbecue or other alfresco dining. Here guests will also find the fabulous electric hot tub and sauna, giving plenty of options for relaxing and unwinding.
The retreat is part of Loch Tay Highland Lodges and on site there is an Italian bistro and bar called Ciro's, which sits on the water's edge overlooking the marina. For those who like watersports, kayaking or sailing then Loch Tay is the perfect place to do it whether a beginner or campaigned veteran, with equipment to hire and instructors on hand. Boats can also be hired for fishing trips or simply cruising the water, while for those thrill seekers there are also speedboat trips.
Nature lovers can take a safari tour of Loch Tay by boat, venture out on a Highland safari, or visit the nearby Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre. For history buffs the 16th Century Castle Menzies is also close by, as is Dochart Falls in Killin, the burial site of Clan McNab which dates back to the 1700s. There are also of course many hiking opportunities in the truly unique Highlands.
