If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of life and build unforgettable memories, The Stables could be the perfect spot for you. This wonderful space is set in a 19th century converted stable block in four acres of natural fields and woodland. Rest and unwind in your own private hot tub and maybe book the sauna in the spa area or hire the Dutch style bikes for the day, to make your stay extra special. And if you're feeling brave, why not jump in the pond and enjoy some wild swimming?
Your home also sits next to a peaceful kitchen garden where you can pick fresh produce and watch the chickens wandering around. Sleeping four guests, while it is the perfect location for families looking to spend quality time together and reconnect in natural surroundings, it also would suit friends looking to holiday together, as the Hypnos cashmere super-king size beds in both bedrooms can be split into single options giving you versatility in your sleeping arrangements.
However you choose to configure them, comfort and luxury are guaranteed, so you will all wake up refreshed after a restful night’s sleep. An Esse Bakeheart stove will provide welcoming warmth and keep your group cosy when it’s cold outside and also provide a focal point to gather around for evening board game sessions.
The modern and well-equipped kitchen boasts a Nespresso machine, induction hob and fridge freezer where you can easily prepare delicious meals for your guests, or for a more rustic experience, you’ll find a firepit and BBQ outside where you can throw some sausages onto the grill or toast marshmallows while stargazing on a clear night.
There will be no need to queue for the bathroom as both bedrooms have their own modern ensuites, one of which features a cast iron roll-top bath. Fluffy towels complete the spa-like experience.
The outside space comprises a pretty lawned garden and a veranda complete with a swing seat, plus a patio area where you can take your meals alfresco while relishing the peace and quiet. A large wood-fired soaking tub is on hand to relax any aching muscles after a day of exploring, so lie back and enjoy a drink as the warm water soothes your cares away.
Spend your days exploring the four acres of beautiful woodland and fields on your doorstep, or venture out and see a bit more of what Suffolk has to offer. Why not hire a bike and discover the many pubs waiting for you on the quiet country roads? Local vineyards provide a refreshing break with a tour and wine tasting to tempt you. Or go old school and have a traditional family day at the seaside. Southwold and Aldeburgh are nearby and offer plenty of places to eat and drink or just to take a coastal stroll.
