Once used as the stables at Rowley Farm in the Worcestershire countryside, this beautiful barn conversion now provides delightful accommodation for two. Rustic stone-flagged floors, exposed wooden beams and features such as the hayrack complement the rural surroundings, while underfloor heating, a hot tub and a wood-burning stove add a touch of luxury.
Step into The Stables and you’ll find yourself in the open-plan living space. The French doors leading out to the patio flood the room with natural light and the high ceilings create a lovely sense of space. There’s a big comfy sofa in the lounge area where you can put your feet up in front of the wood-burning stove and watch a film in the evenings. The welcoming country cottage-style kitchen is well-equipped for a self-catering trip and hampers can be purchased in advance, packed with locally sourced produce to get you started.
The double bedroom is a quiet and relaxing place to be, decorated in calming colours and with sumptuous bedding. The comfortable bed is positioned under a skylight so you can lie back in the evenings and do a bit of stargazing. There’s a modern ensuite bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside, you’ll find a red-bricked private garden area where you can enjoy a drink in the evenings or relax in the wood-fired hot tub.
Rowley Farm is a working farm and your hosts are keen to share their knowledge about the countryside and farming traditions. It’s up to you whether you’d rather learn about the animals from a distance or would like to roll up your sleeves and have a go at helping out at feeding time. Go for a walk in the surrounding countryside and you’ll find plenty of opportunities to stop off for lunch at one of the local pubs along the way. The Holt Fleet is located on the banks of the River Severn, is only a mile away from the farm and the bar is dog friendly too. Enjoy a day out making your own gin at the Piston Gin School, visit the Severn Valley Railway or visit one of the beautiful stately homes in the area, such as Witley Court or Handbury Hall. All before enjoying a glass of something back at The Stables while relaxing in the hot tub.

The Stables has been sympathetically rebuilt to offer a high standard of accommodation for couples to enjoy whilst staying with Rowley Farm Holidays. The A frame beam has been produced specifically for the building by a very talented local based company.
Light and open, the barn is characterised by the rustic stone-flagged floor, a red bricked private garden area to enjoy a drink on or time in the wood-fired hot tub.
The cottage comprises a country cottage-style kitchen/diner, comfortable lounge area and large bedroom, complete with sky-light, perfect a spot of star gazing.
