And where better to rest-up after a day in the fresh Scottish air and sleep off any of those regional specialities than the Roundhouse in Dalbeattie? Quirky, stylish and comfortable The Roundhouse, situated in the heart of the Granite town of Dalbeattie, offers luxury accommodation which has been furnished and finished to the highest of standards. In the main bedroom scatter-cushions add bright pops of colour to the crisp white linens which adorn the beds, which may be made up as one king or two twins. This room also has a lovely en-suite, which features an invigorating waterfall shower.
The second bedroom is by no means a lesser room and also features a flat screen television for watching your favourite movies from the comfort of your cosy bed. A large family bathroom is just next door.
The property is well-equipped to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The television has Netflix, all bed linen and towels are provided, and there is WiFi and mobile phone coverage.

Or take a tour of the many spectacular stone circles, many date back to 4000 years B.C. Cairnholy and The Twelve Apostles are just two worth taking a look at.

We stayed at the roundhouse for a week in August with our two children who are 12yrs and 8yrs and the dog, really didn't know what to expect as we had never stayed in an apartment before, all I can say is brilliant! We had an excellent holiday just what we needed, lovely and clean, lovely touch leaving towels and soap, great location, visited the cocoa bean factory where the boys enjoyed making chocolate, the outdoor park was open, creams o Galloway, Mabie farm, dunfries, loch Ken the list is endless! would definitely recommend to anyone and great having the park right next door kids thought that was great and parking available at the rear in the public car park. Only thing was it was quite noisy in the front bedroom on an evening with traffic but wouldn't put us off. Thank you!
