Willow Roundhouse is the perfect getaway for nature lovers looking for a bit of peace and quiet in the most beautiful surroundings. Lovingly constructed by hand, all the materials used are natural wherever possible, with the interiors making the most of the nature all around it. Sleeping two guests in a king-sized bed, or up to seven guests if required, Willow Roundhouse offers an earthy experience with plenty to see and do both on-site and in the local area, being just 20 minutes away from Norwich. But there's many reasons not to venture too far away, including the woodburner to snuggle up to, woodlands to explore, and a campfire to toast some marshmallows on.
Willow Roundhouse is an impressive feat of human craftsmanship and ingenuity. The soft, rounded clay walls are contrasted beautifully with a number of reclaimed timber-framed windows, including a two-metre skylight, ensuring that natural light floods in, offering the ideal spot for viewing the surrounding landscapes and some cosy star-gazing to boot. Guests are treated to a sumptuous king-size bed as well as luxury sofa and seating which can convert to additional bedding. There is an en-suite bathroom with compost toilet and a stunning hand-carved oak sink with copper taps and running water. The roundhouse also benefits from a fully-equipped kitchen and electricity generated by its own solar panels, however, there is no running water in the kitchen. Guests do, however, have access to a washing up area near the shower building. And for those lazy summer days, make use of the hammock, outdoor seating and barbecue. Guests also have access to a shower room nearby with hot running water.
On the grounds of 18-acres of idyllic Norfolk countryside, Round the Woods is home to Willow Roundhouse. Here, you will find meadows and woodlands to explore, with an eye-watering amount of wildlife, particularly impressive for birdwatching with a huge range of birdlife on site. A network of small streams and ponds only adds to the serenity here making it easy to while the days away, care-free. Should you choose to venture outside the site, you'll find the tranquil villages of Weston Longville and Lenwade nearby. There is an extensive choice of long and short walking trails in the local vicinity, as well as being a short drive away from the spectacular Norfolk coastline and beaches.
