This early 19th Century windmill is situated on the canal within easy walking distance of the historical market town of Boston. When milling, gentle rumblings can be heard in the apartment that has been finished to the highest standard.
The first floor apartment offers one king-size bedroom with a comfy bed and quaint, ornate furnishings that make for a delightful stay. The bathroom has a big roll-top bath, where you can enjoy a nice relaxing soak, and a separate WC. Guests can also make use of lovely bed linens, and cosy warm towels.
The spacious living space, comprised of an open plan lounge/diner has nice exposed beams, and a charming, homely fee. It also has a TV with freesat and a DVD player for evenings in.
The kitchen has a range cooker with gas hob and oven, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave, meaning you have all you need to cook up some wonderful food.
The property also has ample parking, central heating and Wi-Fi, for those of you who wish to catch up on any email correspondence. Guests can also make the most of their welcome pack which is stuffed full of a variety of locally sourced produce.
Boston offering a range of shops, pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities, is well placed for touring, walking and close-by there is one of the best markets in Lincolnshire. Local delicacies are plentiful but the Boston sausage is a must. For days out, the Lincolnshire Wolds provide an ideal place for exploring and the market towns of Horncastle and Louth are within easy reach.
The picturesque city of Lincoln is only a short drive away. Within an hour’s drive, there’s North Norfolk, and the seaside town of Skegness, with its sandy beaches and family attractions. Hemswell is a must visit; home to the largest Antique's Centre in the UK. The popular RPSB bird sanctuaries at Freiston Shore and Frampton Marsh are just a 10 minute drive.
